by: Robert Hammel "The Clown" steps cheeky and arrogantly in appearance, while "The Crocodile" roaringly soars out of it´s hiding. Even though it roars and seems frightful, it is a "good" being, and not at all dangerous. But the mean clown starts to attac the crocodile for no appearant reason. The crocodile manages to chase the clown away and starts to flee. It doesn´t want to be "The Crocodile" anymore and moves through uncountable obstacles in the labyrinth of modern life. As masks start to pass it by, the crocodile is reminded of the depth of it´s own soul. Through the element of fire it is able to free itself from the old. By being it´s own saviour, the crocodile steps out into life, cleansed and renewed.
The production "escape" leads us through the traditional puppetier´s theatre, with two symbolic figures onto the stage of life, on which we are all both actors and audience. Must a person who looks like a crocodile, automatically have the personality of one?
