Fate. Many believe in it – some don’t. But what is there to believe in? Are we able to control it or are we just on of a million playballs on an Ikea kid’s playground.
Monochrome does not try to answer this question, but encourages us to recall this issue to try and find an answer for ourselves. Clever is, who finds a way to back-pedal in this chaos of recurring events to counter: „Hey, it could be much, much worse.“ And it becomes worse. For sure. So what is there to look forward to?
The answer is obvious. It lies in the hands of our protagonist, an employee in a strange little fashion boutique in the middle of a little town. Somewhere. Everything seems to be wrong. The customers are teeming and our protagonist seems to be strangely stressed. Why? It’s got to be something to do with two strange guys, who show up unexpected in front of the shopping window. The drama begins, when they decide to carry out his fate in a game of chess
