af: Markus Feder A short-film about an old fellow being confronted
with other peoples’ judgements about him and
how he deals with stuff like that.
Identität is the german word for identity which is
a very big and also existential subject. This short
film plays with the tension between how people
see themselves and how they are seen by the
outside world.
The emphasis is the contrast between these two
points of views. The goal is not to find solutions
to that conflict, it`s more about showing an everyday
phenomenon in an unexpected and amusing
way.
The story is inspired by my own experiences with
my bad hearing uncle who refuses persistently to
use his hearing aid and prefers to stay in his own
kind of world.
This short film is my graduation film in the subject
fim & animation at the Georg-Simon-Ohm University
of Applied Science in Nuremberg, Germany. And was
supervised by professor Jürgen Schopper.
The sounddesign was made by Wyzton Borrero from
No-Domain in Barcelona.
