by: Emmanuel DUCHEZ This is my last film. it was made with a team more than reduced. The scenario was mentally written and evolved during the shooting. This film is very important for me because, in spite of its very limited means, it is the most succeeded in my creations and I attempted to make it creative to each of the shots, both at the level of the images and of the sound. Its major originality is that, although endowed with a strong experimental and avant-gardist side, it tells a very understandable story based on a universal subject:the fear.
I wanted in this film to honour the fantastic art generally and the Gothic music in particular. Extracts chosen as this film were "Sweet Gwendoline" of the German group ASP and " Es brennt die Sehnsucht " of the another German group Umbra and Imago. Scenes of pure action are containing extracts of 3 titles securities of Heimataerde, a very talented Swiss industrial techno group, with extracts of 3 songs: "Die Offenbarung", "Daemon" and "Kadavergehorsam".
