by: Calvin Climie, Gerald Mackenzie Deh´ma Jow´say, an extraterrestrial herbalist, lives in Biosphere Nao´sin, a forested asteroid orbiting a distant sun. She tends the ecosystem and sails on solar winds toward where her friends have disappeared. Speen Relco arrives and offers to speed her journey by using his ship´s powerful engines. She agrees, but soon Speen´s true motives are revealed.
He begins the takeover of her forested home. Actually a prospector for an interstellar mining corporation, he lays claim to the asteroid´s platinum.
Upon discovering pollution in the forest´s waterways, Deh´ma confronts him and is captured. If she is to save her world from obliteration, she must foil his plans. Only by suffering horrendous consequences can Speen be stopped, but will her world survive the outcome?
