My name is Emmanuel Duchez. I am an independent french filmmaker and, with my small audiovisual studio "Utopia Création", I have made since 2000 several short fictions and experimental documentaries with no budget but a great heart.
My initial study and diploma : Master of law degree (level) in 1990 ; Conception and realization of multimedia products (1995-1997).
Between 1987 and 2006 : Radio-speaker for a cultural and artistic radio ; Audio-visual teacher in a professional school.
Between 2003 and 2006 : actor in several films for TV and directed by Francis Girod (film "Le Pays des Enfants Perdus"), Lucas Belvaux film "Nature Contre Nature"), Jean-Louis Lorenzi (f.ilm "Le Bal des Célibataires"), Henri Helman (film "1905") and Albert Knechtel ("film "La Couleur Blonde").
Between 2005 and 2007 : publishing of 3 comics (one as the writer) and picture-story book.
As a screenplayer, director and editor, I have made 7 fiction short films (especially horror, thriller and adventure), most were awarded (in France and in England) or selected (in France) and they are distributed through Glimz.
I am also an agent for other independent filmmakers, like Sébastien Conchon and Jean-Paul Daniel and I also distribute their films through Glimz.net
