Amsterdam, Netherlands, born 1970 (Sweden)
Director
Kevin Zaar has previously worked for Swedish National Radio P3, written and photographed for Aftonbladet (Scandinavias biggest evening newpaper), thrown out magic mushrooms on Alice Bah (former talk show host), created europes longest live UFO-TV show as well as worked with
Swedish director Daniel Fridells movie Blodsbröder.
During the work with Reality Portal he was brutally beaten down by Swedish anti rave police (the Rave Commission). This was at the same time as the Rave Commission proudly went out in the media proclaiming that one secretively was filming, spying on and registered rave-kids that took the train down to Berlins freedom manifestation Love Parade.
Swedish police broke into Kevins apartment, created false evidence and tried to get him any way the could. He was almost going insane since he was continously stalked, followed and herassed. Kevin feared for hislife and safety. As first Swedish (?!!) documentary filmmaker ever he
was forced into exile.
