After graduation he worked as Assistant Director in a theatre in Frankfurt. In 2004 he completed his degree in photography at Academy of Applied Photography in Graz/ Austria, where he also had his first exhibitions. He joined the independent filmschool filmArche in Berlin and in 2007 he got nominated for the German Newcomer Film Award with his shortfilm "Untergehen mit Picasso". In 2008 he finished his post-graduate studies in film directing at FAMU in Prague. In 2009 he was selected for the 7th Berlinale Talent Campus and his feature-length screenplay “Out of Time Man” for the Berlinale Script Station.
